This ancient sea monster had a killer bite and no teeth

Nautilus: Russell Engelman, graduate student and research assistant in biology at the College of Arts and Sciences, discussed his recent research on Dunkleosteus, Cleveland's prehistoric sea monster. "The last major work examining the jaw anatomy of Dunkleosteus in detail was published in 1932, when arthrodire anatomy was still poorly understood," he said.
