Case Comprehensive Cancer Center hosts TRCCC’s 2026 Annual Meeting

The 2026 Annual Meeting of the Translational Research Cancer Centers Consortium (TRCCC): Forging Ahead in the Era of Immunotherapy went off without a hitch thanks to this year’s host, Case Comprehensive Cancer Center (Case CCC).

Taking place Feb. 25–27 at Seven Springs Mountain Resort in Pennsylvania, cancer experts from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, including event co-organizers Alex Huang, MD, PhD, and J. Joseph Melenhorst, PhD, gathered alongside roughly 400 participants from 13 cancer centers to collaborate and share the latest discoveries in immunotherapy. 

Case CCC Director Gary Schwartz, MD, as well as center members Natalie Silver, MD, and Rebecca Obeng, MD, PhD, were among the invited speakers. CWRU School of Medicine graduate students Indrani Das and Mary Vincent were awarded the American Association of Immunologists Predoctoral Fellowship Award, and Anthony Sloan, PhD, Sung Hee Choi, PhD, and Beatriz Oliveira, PhD, were recognized with the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer Postdoctoral Fellowship Award.
