The Division of Public Safety at Case Western Reserve University is hosting the second annual Battle of the Badges Food Drive. This is a friendly competition between CWRU Police Department, University Circle Police Department and Cleveland Clinic Police, with all food and monetary donations going directly to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank.
Last year, the departments collected just under 4,800 lbs. of food, with the winner CWRU Police Department collecting 1,800 lbs.
If you’re interested in contributing to the drive, drop food off directly at the Division of Public Safety (1689 E. 115th St.). You can also make a monetary donation online. The competition is based on weight, so canned foods or heavier items are encouraged.
