CWRU’s Brian Gran and Anne Bryden invited to serve as observers of the Uniform Law Commission’s Study Committee
Brian Gran, PhD, JD, professor in the Department of Sociology, and Anne Bryden, PhD, director of clinical trials and research at the Institute for Functional Restoration, were invited to serve as observers of the Uniform Law Commission’s Study Committee of Mental Privacy, Cognitive Biometrics and Neural Data.
This committee explores the interrelation between existing biometric laws and emerging needs pertaining to neural data and cognitive biometrics to assess the need for and feasibility of a uniform or model act.
Gran also holds appointments at the School of Law and Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences. Bryden is affiliated with the School of Medicine and MetroHealth Center for Rehabilitation Research.
