CWRU’s Pre-Physician Assistant Club hosts inaugural conference
The Pre-Physician Assistant Club at Case Western Reserve recently hosted the university’s first-ever physician assistant (PA) conference, which brought together more than 40 students and practicing certified physician assistants from CWRU, Ohio State University, John Carroll University and Cleveland State University.
The inaugural event featured expert panels, networking opportunities, a resume workshop, clinical skills activities, admission resources from more than a dozen Ohio PA programs and career development sessions. It also provided an invaluable space for aspiring and current physician assistants to connect, learn from one another and strengthen support for the profession.
Plans are underway to expand the conference next year.
