University Technology’s Information Security Office, in partnership with the Association for Computing Machinery, will host a panel discussion for National Cyber Security Awareness Month.
The event will be held Friday, Oct. 21, at 1 p.m. in Tinkham Veale University Center, ballroom C.
The panel will feature the following speakers:
- Bryan Smith, supervisory special agent for FBI cyber crime investigations;
- Tom Siu, chief information security officer at Case Western Reserve University;
- Joseph A. Dickinson, attorney at Tucker Ellis LLP and former privacy officer and chief information security officer at MetroHealth;
- Matthew B. Neely, director of strategic initiatives at SecureState; and
- Matt Bentley, vice president of information technology for Undergraduate Student Government and vice president of CWRU’s Hacker Society.
