Now in its 22nd year, the Staff Advisory Council’s Basket Raffle remains a cherished Case Western Reserve University tradition, bringing the campus community together in support of a worthy cause. The annual raffle celebrates the creativity and generosity of the university community while supporting efforts to address food insecurity in Greater Cleveland.
Thanks to the generosity of participants and donors over the past two decades, the event has raised $98,550. This July, organizers hope to surpass the $100,000 milestone. All proceeds will benefit the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, a valued partner of the CWRU Community Food Pantry.
How to donate a basket
Basket donations from CWRU faculty, staff, departments and campus groups help make the annual fundraiser possible. Those interested in contributing a basket can complete the raffle's donation form.
Held in Tinkham Veale University Center Senior Classroom, the Basket Raffle will take place:
- Tuesday, July 21, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Wednesday, July 22, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Thursday, July 23, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
