Rishabh Kundu—a ThinkEnergy and Swanger Fellow and second-year PhD student at Case School of Engineering’s Department of Materials Science and Engineering—was awarded the D.T. Rankin Award by the Energy Materials and Systems Division (EMSD) of the American Ceramic Society (ACerS). This award recognizes an EMSD member who has demonstrated exemplary service to the division.
The youngest recipient of the D.T. Rankin Award, Kundu was recognized earlier this year at the Materials Science and Technology 2025 Technical Meeting and Exhibition, which marks his second distinction as the youngest recipient of an ACerS honor following the Global Ambassador Award he received in 2022.
