Bob Dylan recast popular music with the questions of purpose and meaning that had defined religion for millennia. In the words of Bruce Springsteen, Dylan has proved that pop songs could contain the whole world.
The Siegal Lifelong Learning Program will offer a remote course titled “Bargaining for Salvation: Bob Dylan and the Spirit of Rock and Roll” Wednesdays from March 17 to April 21 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. ET.
Participants will uncover and recover Dylan's rock and roll revolution of the spirit in all of its glorious disruption in this five-session course.
Stephen Arnoff, CEO of Fuchsberg Jerusalem Center, will be the instructor of this course.
