Members of the Case Western Reserve University community are invited to participate in the 15th annual Run Through History at nearby Lake View Cemetery Saturday, Sep. 20. This event is a 5K run and 2-mile walk/run starting at 9 a.m. The Spartan Running Club plans to participate in the run.
Participants can set their own pace as they make their way through the historic and scenic cemetery. Among the notable figures buried at Lake View Cemetery are President James A. Garfield and industrialist John D. Rockefeller.
The race can be completed individually or as part of a team. Dogs also are welcome to join.
All participants will receive a commemorative race bib, T-shirt, and post-race refreshments.
