All female graduate and doctoral students are invited to join a brown-bag discussion about “Respect, Gender and Age in the Academic Experience.”
Facilitated by Corinne Coen, assistant professor of organizational behavior, and Kathleen Kash, professor of physics, the conversation will address questions such as:
- What are some of the challenges faced by women in higher education?
- How does one establish an environment of respect as a TA?
- What’s the best way to respond to gender stereotypes disguised as jokes?
