Four updates available through [U]Tech Software Center

Four updates have been made to software available through University Technology's Software Center. Updated versions of IBM SPSS Statistics, SAS, PyMOL AxPyMOL and Read & Write Gold now are available for download to faculty, staff and students. To install any software listed:

1. Visit softwarecenter.case.edu/eula.php;
2. Agree to the end-user license agreement; and
3. Select the desired software title and operating system.

IBM SPSS Statistics

CWRU has renewed its annual license for SPSS, upgrading to version 25. It is available at the following price points:

• Students: $87
• Faculty and staff: $116

Faculty and staff who would prefer to continue using SPSS 24 may renew their license for $116. All of the above licenses will expire July 31, 2019. For more information, visit the IBM SPSS Statistics website.

SAS

Students, faculty and staff can upgrade SAS statistical software to version 9.4 TS1M5. The license will expire Aug. 14, 2019. This license if free for students and $103 for others. Faculty and staff who wish to renew their current version, instead of updating, may do so at the same rate and with the same expiration date. For more information, visit the SAS website.

PyMOL AxPyMOL

PyMOL AxPyMOL version 2.2 is now available for free to all students, faculty and staff. It is a powerful and comprehensive molecular visualization product for rendering and animating 3-D molecular structures. The license will expire July 28, 2019. Read & Write Gold

Version 12 of Read & Write Gold, a software that supports individuals of all ages and abilities who struggle with reading and writing, learning disabilities or learning English, is now available. For more information, visit the Read and Write Gold website.
