As part of the Frontiers in Biological Science Lecture Series, the Department of Pharmacology will host Timothy Alan Springer, professor at Harvard Medical School and co-recipient of the 2022 Albert Lasker Basic Medical Research Award.
Springer will present “Touching the Soul of the Integrin Machine with Single Molecules” Wednesday, April 5, at 3 p.m. in Wolstein Research Building, Room 1413. A livestream will be available for those who cannot attend in person.
Springer is a senior investigator at the Immune Disease Institute, the Latham Family Professor, and professor of biological chemistry and molecular pharmacology at Harvard Medical School. He also is a senior investigator at the Program in Cellular and Molecular Medicine, and professor of pediatrics at Boston Children's Hospital. Additionally, he is a co-founder of the Institute for Protein Innovation.
This event will be held in memory of Chris Dealwis, a faculty member who passed away in July 2022.
