Update: This article has been amended, as voting officially closed at midnight.
Students had the opportunity to vote for the student they believe embodies CWRU spirit, inclusivity and pride to become "Homecoming Royalty." Make sure to attend the homecoming football game Saturday, Oct. 10, to find out which two students will become CWRU royalty.
This year, the Office of Student Activities & Leadership intentionally changed the language from “King and Queen” to “Homecoming Royalty” to be more inclusive of all students.
The following 10 students were named to the court, which was announced between the flag football and pushball games Oct. 3:
Brittany Chung
Hana Litwin
Khailing Neoh
Suzy Peoples
Caitlin Petersen
Rachel Sosnowchik
Jillian Stone
Sapna Sundar
Bill Tomaszewski
Charlie Topel
The Homecoming Committee also will sell homecoming-themed sweatshirts for $10 this week from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Nord Hall. Proceeds will benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation, which strives to find a cure for Parkinson's disease.
