Humanities@Work: Nonprofits

The Baker-Nord Center for the Humanities will host a discussion with panelists working in the nonprofit sector. At this Humanities@Work event, panelists will talk about how studying the humanities influenced their careers and answer questions from the audience. The discussion will be held Monday, Feb. 26, at 6 p.m. in Clark Hall, Room 206, and all undergraduates are welcome to attend. Panelists include:
  • Alexis Crosby, career pathways coordinator at Open Doors Academy;
  • Annette Iwamoto, strategic initiatives manager at Providence House;
  • Beth Thompson, program director at Milestones Autism Resources; and
  • Melinda Jackson, founder and executive director of the International Youth Leadership Foundation.
The Center for Civic Engagement and Learning will co-sponsor this event. Register online.
