Spectrum News: Jonny French Flint, the Inamori Emerging Visiting Scholar, warned U.S. strikes in Iran could deepen tensions and potentially empower a Revolutionary Guard–led regime “more negative” than the current one. He noted the long, cooling U.S.–Iran relationship and questioned when rising civilian deaths might prompt the international community to deem the action intolerable.
