In celebration of Engineers Week in February, the Leonard Gelfand STEM Center will host the annual Engineering Challenges Carnival for local youth from Pre-K to eighth grade.
Event volunteers are needed to inspire children to explore and consider science, technology, engineering and mathematics as career options through demonstrations and hands-on activities. Faculty, staff and students are invited to volunteer as individuals or as part of a group.
The event will be held Saturday, Feb. 11, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Thwing Center ballroom.
There are multiple shifts for which you can sign up to volunteer. Sign up online.
