Should “success” in science be measured differently?
Technology Networks: Raeka Aiyar, executive director of the Institute for Glial Sciences, stated that there are many talented and promising scientists in the field who do not receive top funds since there isn't enough funding to recognize their abilities. “We need to broaden our images of what a successful scientist looks like, of who is really making an impact on the field,” said Aiyar.
