Asha for Education, a volunteer organization aiming to help provide basic education for children in India, invites students to an evening of homemade Indian cuisine and retro Bollywood music on Saturday, Sept. 21, beginning at 6 p.m. in Guilford House. (Please note: This is a location change.)
Asha for Education aims to:
- provide financial assistance for basic education to poor and underprivileged children in India.
- increase awareness among the local communities and promote the cause of increasing literacy among children.
- support and cooperate with persons and groups already engaged in similar activities.
