Supreme Court rules mail-in ballots can still count if received after election night. What it means for Ohio.

Shanker Professor of Law, said the U.S. Supreme Court's decision allowing states to count mail ballots received after Election Day if postmarked on time reaffirms states' authority to set election rules. While it won't change Ohio law, he said the ruling reinforces the Constitution's balance between state and federal power over elections.
