Supreme Court to hear arguments on porn age verification law
Roll Call: Eric Chaffee, professor and the Peter M. Gerhart Distinguished Research Scholar at the School of Law, noted that the Supreme Court will hear arguments on a Texas law requiring age verification on pornography websites. He said the court may remand the case to apply stricter scrutiny. “Protecting children is compelling, but the question is whether a narrower approach could achieve this goal,” Chaffee noted.
