Ohio’s wager on sports gambling is costing more than money

Hutchins Professor of Law, said efforts to roll back online sports betting in Ohio are unlikely to succeed, comparing it to “trying to put the genie back into the bottle.” Chaffee said lawmakers know how lucrative the industry has become, though proposed restrictions may signal regulators are increasing scrutiny.
