What is whole genome sequencing, and how might it change the outcome of the Gilgo Beach Killer trial?

A&E: Michael Benza, professor of practice at the School of Law, said courts won’t automatically accept whole genome sequencing; each jurisdiction must vet the new technology like any new science. Whole-genome sequencing reads every letter of a person’s DNA, Benza noted, and can solve cases traditional DNA can’t.
