Cleveland Scene: Miranda Leppla, director of the Environmental Law Clinic at the School of Law, discussed the sentencing of disgraced former House Speaker Larry Householder—at the high end of the government’s requested 16- to 20-year range—for his role in the HB 6 corruption scheme. “(The 20-year sentence) sends a strong message to Ohio politicians that politics isn’t, and shouldn’t be, a game,” Leppla said.
