The first US hub for experimental medical treatments is coming

Hahn Professor of Law and co-director of the Law-Medicine Center, discussed Montana's passage of a bill allowing licensed clinics to sell unproven drugs after only phase I trials. Supporters tout personal freedom and medical innovation, but critics warn of serious risks. “It’s disturbing,” Hoffman said. “This could endanger patients.” The bill awaits the governor’s signature.
