Law's Victor Flatt warns of potential impact of Ohio’s new gas plant law

New law focused on energy production takes effect

Spectrum News: Victor Flatt, the Coleman P. Burke Chair in Environmental Law and associate director of the Burke Center for Environmental Law, warned that Ohio’s new gas plant law could harm state parks, with fracking causing noise, visual intrusion, road tie-ups, runoff and other disruptions. He argued solar and wind connect to the grid faster, suggesting the push may be aimed at attracting data centers rather than environmental balance.
