The Baker-Nord Center for the Humanities will hold a panel discussion on resources specifically available to undergraduate students studying the humanities at Case Western Reserve University.
“Humanities@Case” will be held Friday, Jan. 22, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in Clark Hall, Room 206.
The panel will be composed of the following individuals:
- Elizabeth Banks, director of the Center for Civic Engagement and Learning, who will discuss opportunities for community service and active learning.
- Autumn Beechler Stebing, assistant director of education abroad in the Center for International Affairs, who will discuss the opportunities and process for studying abroad.
- Leigh Bonds, digital research services librarian for the humanities at Kelvin Smith Library, who will provide information about the research support available to undergraduate humanities students.
- Sylvia Marrero, assistant director of student outreach in the Career Center, who will provide an overview of the support and resources available for internships and career planning through the Career Center.
- Sheila Pedigo, director of SOURCE (Support of Undergraduate Research & Creative Endeavors), who will provide information about research and creative project funding opportunities.
