Learn about Zoom web interface changes

A refreshed Zoom Web experience is coming to user browsers at Case Western Reserve University. The newly redesigned interface is built to be more unified and intuitive, closely mirroring the Zoom desktop application.

When users sign in, they will be greeted by a cleaner homepage and a new universal header at the top of the screen.

The most significant change in this update is the new product waffle menu—the grid icon located in the top-right corner. Replacing the previous left-hand navigation panel, the waffle menu serves as a personalized quick-access launcher. Users can also click, drag and drop their favorite Zoom tools to customize the order based on their preferences.

Adjacent to the waffle menu is an updated profile menu, which now neatly organizes personal tools under the “My Account” section.

After Friday, Aug. 14, users are encouraged to log in, explore the new waffle menu and customize their layout to best support their day-to-day workflows.
