Jeff Rice, the Martha B. Reynolds Professor in Writing, Rhetoric, and Digital Studies at the University of Kentucky, will present “Unworkable Hermeneutics” at the next Baker-Nord Center for the Humanities event.
The talk will take place Thursday, April 24, at 4:30 p.m. in Clark Hall, room 206. During his presentation, Rice will discuss the impact of hermeneutics, the study of interpretation, on digital humanities thinking—specifically how hermeneutics prevents certain types of digital work from occurring.
