His article, which is titled “There’s No Magic Bullet for Cleveland’s Poverty,” explains the difference between poverty rates in Cleveland’s 34 neighborhoods and 58 suburbs.
Fischer, who is also co-director of the Center on Urban Poverty and Community Development, wrote about the historical context surrounding poverty in Cleveland, as well as some of the related factors researchers measure, such as education.
