cleveland.com: School of Medicine student Tamia Potter discussed becoming the first Black woman to accept a neurosurgery residency position in Vanderbilt University's 148-year history. “I am over the moon,” she said. “I literally can’t even believe it. Yes, I always knew that I wanted to be a neurosurgeon, but I didn’t think that this is what I would accomplish.”
