A GLP-1 pill may help you keep weight off after stopping Wegovy or Zepbound

Verywell Health: Betul Hatipoglu, director of Case Western Reserve University’s Diabetes, Obesity, and Metabolism Center, said GLP-1 pills offer a convenient, lower-cost option to injections, but typically maintain only partial weight loss and may cause GI side effects, meaning treatment should be individualized. A new study shows Eli Lilly’s Foundayo helped people retain about 75% of weight loss after stopping injectables such as Wegovy or Zepbound.
