The New Republic: Kathleen Fagan, adjunct assistant professor at the School of Medicine, warned that proposed Trump administration rules increasing meat-processing line speeds would lead to more worker injuries, chronic pain and amputations. Fagan said research clearly links faster, repetitive work to musculoskeletal disorders and argued weakened safety oversight could also increase foodborne illness outbreaks.
