Ronda Mourad, MD, an associate program director in the Department of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, was announced as the recipient of the 2027 Association of Program Directors in Internal Medicine (APDI) Distinguished University Associate Program Director/Core Faculty Award.
This organization is a prominent member community of the Alliance for Academic Internal Medicine (AAIM), of which Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine is a member.
The APDI Distinguished University Associate Program Director/Core Faculty Award recognizes an associate program director or core faculty at a university-based program for outstanding contributions to the field of graduate medical education.
“The Alliance Awards celebrate excellence across academic internal medicine, and Dr. Mourad’s peer-recognized achievement reflects her outstanding leadership, dedication and impact,” said AAIM CEO Erica J. Holland. “We are proud to congratulate her and deeply appreciate her contributions to our shared mission.”
The 2027 Alliance Awards recipients will be recognized at Academic Internal Medicine Week, which will be held April 4 to 7 in Baltimore, MD. The Alliance’s annual conference will bring together more than 4,000 faculty and administrator leaders from departments of internal medicine in medical schools and teaching hospitals in the United States.
AAIM promotes the advancement and professional development of its more than 14,000 members who prepare the next generation of internal medicine physicians and leaders through education, research, engagement, and collaboration.
