DeWine’s hemp crackdown could aid Cleveland’s battle against smoke shops
cleveland.com: Stephanie Pike Moore, assistant professor at the School of Medicine, said THC-labeled products are increasingly common in Cleveland. “In 2025, 55% of the city’s 400 tobacco retailers sold THC products, up from one-third in 2023,” she said, underscoring how rapidly these hemp-derived substances have spread beyond smoke shops into mainstream stores.
