Gas stoves unhealthy for some asthma sufferers, Cleveland study suggests

Cleveland Plain Dealer: Ash Sehgal, the Duncan Neuhauser Professor of Community Health Improvement at the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, said replacing gas stoves with electric induction stoves may significantly improve asthma control for people with poorly controlled asthma. A new study found a 70% drop in indoor nitrogen dioxide and asthma-related ER visits and hospitalizations after households switched from gas stoves.
