This discovery could explain why Alzheimer’s is more common in women
MSNDavid Kang, the Howard T. Karsner Professor in Pathology at Case Western Reserve School of Medicine, and Jung-A Woo, assistant professor of pathology, co-authored a study that has identified a mechanism in brain tissue that may explain why women are more vulnerable to Alzheimer’s disease—a finding they said could help lead to new medicines to treat the disease.
