Why doctors say you probably don’t need an RSV test
Men’s HealthRobert Salata, a professor at the School of Medicine, discussed RSV, a contagious respiratory infection spread via sneezing, coughing, shaking hands and close contact. This year, the “interseasonal activity” of RSV is occurring earlier than usual, which Salata said is the reason for the increased cases among both adults and children.
