Case Western Reserve-led coalition wins one of the nation’s biggest economic development awards

Crain's Cleveland Business: Michael Oakes, the university's executive vice president for research and economic development, said winning the National Science Foundation Regional Innovation Engine award is just the beginning, stressing the coalition must "keep winning" and build a self-sustaining manufacturing innovation ecosystem. The Case Western Reserve-led NEO-SMART coalition secured an award worth up to $160 million over 10 years.
