STORY BY: ALAINA BARTEL

National Coffee Day (Sept. 29) is the perfect excuse to step off campus and explore Cleveland’s vibrant coffee scene. Sometimes the library just doesn’t cut it, and a change of scenery—or a stronger cup of coffee—can be exactly what you need to power through assignments, write that essay, or prep for a big exam. Luckily, there are plenty of coffee spots near Case Western Reserve University that combine cozy atmospheres with strong Wi-Fi, plenty of outlets, and expertly brewed drinks.

Grab your laptop, your headphones, and maybe a friend or two, and check out these four coffee shops that make studying off campus feel like a treat rather than a chore.
