Studies: Younger HIV patients more isolated, stressed than older patients; life expectancy improving
The Plain Dealer: Allison Webel, assistant professor of nursing, talked about her team’s research, which found that younger HIV patients are more prone to higher levels of stress and isolation than older patients. “We found that the older folks had more friendship [ties] than the younger folks,” said Webel, the lead author of the study.
