Nursing’s Janine Galeski earns award from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners
It is the second consecutive year that the award has gone to a Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing faculty member.
Janine Galeski, DNP, instructor and assistant director of the Master of Nursing program at Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing, was recognized with the State Award for Outstanding Contributions in Ohio by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). This award honors individuals who have made significant strides in advancing health care through practice, education, advocacy, research and leadership, and have demonstrated efforts to advance the image, profile and visibility of nurse practitioners.
“This recognition reflects far more than my individual efforts,” said Galeski. “It represents the culture of excellence at the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing and the commitment of my clinical practice team.”
Award recipients will be honored for this achievement at the 2026 AANP National Conference in Las Vegas in June.
The award has now gone to a School of Nursing faculty member at Case Western Reserve University for the second straight year, with Marie Grosh, DNP, winning the award in 2025.
