The 'cortisol cocktail' trend is everywhere. Does it actually lower your cortisol?

CNBC: Lindsay Malone, a registered dietitian and instructor in the Department of Nutrition at the School of Medicine, said the popular “cortisol cocktail” is essentially an electrolyte drink, not a hormone treatment. She cautioned that branding it as a cortisol remedy can mislead people into expecting a beverage to address serious physiological problems, despite lacking evidence that it lowers cortisol or treats “adrenal fatigue.”
