In an effort to give back to the community, the Division of Public Safety is joining local organizations in a Battle of the Badges holiday food drive challenge.
From Nov. 1 through Nov. 16, law enforcement teams across University Circle will compete to collect the most canned and nonperishable food by total weight. All donations collected will go to the Cleveland Food Bank to support families during the holiday season.
Participating teams include:
- CWRU Police,
- University Circle Police,
- University Hospitals Police, and
- Cleveland Clinic Police.
Members of the Case Western Reserve University community are encouraged to participate and help give back by donating the following items:
- Canned fruit,
- Vegetables,
- Beans,
- Rice,
- Pasta,
- Cereal,
- Pasta sauce,
- Peanut butter,
- Canned protein, and
- Juice.
Donations can be dropped off at the Division of Public Safety at 1689 East 115th Street or picked up by emailing publicsafety@case.edu.
