Pavey family gives CWRU $5M to establish eminent professorship
Crain's Cleveland Business: Bob Pavey, a Case Western Reserve University trustee, along with his family, have created The Pavey Family Eminent Professorship to support the pursuit of “high-risk, high-reward research." The position will be held by Paul Tesar, director of the Institute for Glial Sciences at the School of Medicine. “The most important things don’t happen overnight,” said Pavey. “If you can look ahead and support the right people at the right time, you can help make progress on problems that truly matter—to the university, to the community and to the world.”
