Popular Mechanics: Harsh Mathur, professor of physics at the College of Arts and Sciences, explained he and his research partner’s recent study suggesting that, instead of a possible ninth planet in our solar system, an additional gravitational pull experienced from distant stars might explain the gravitational behavior of the so-called “Kuiper belt.”
