25 years ago, a woman killed a pregnant Ravenna mom, claimed the baby as her own
Akron Beacon Journal (subscription required): Phillip Resnick, professor of psychiatry at the School of Medicine, discussed the case of a woman who murdered her pregnant neighbor and abducted the baby, who she then attempted to pass off as her own. The crime was uncovered after a cellphone worker connected the woman’s disappearance to suspicious activity.
