Jeremy Shapiro, adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Psychological Sciences, wrote about climate change denial in an article published by The Conversation.

Titled “The Thinking Error that Makes People Susceptible to Climate Change Denial,” the article describes a psychological mechanism at the root of climate change denial. This interdisciplinary piece about connections among psychology, climate science, and politics is an attempt to address obstacles that block effective climate action.
