Case Western Reserve University license plates are available under the Bureau of Motor Vehicles' Ohio Collegiate Plate Program. Through this initiative, Ohio residents can promote their alma mater and show their CWRU spirit while providing funds toward needed scholarship support for students.

Bryce Hodge, a 2026 graduate who studied political science at the College of Arts and Sciences with minors in public policy, business management, English and childhood studies, was named the 2026 scholarship recipient of this program.

“As a native Clevelander and legacy student, attending CWRU has been both a privilege and a blessing,” Hodge said. “I’ve appreciated the ability to pursue higher education in the city that I love so much while engaging with extremely intelligent professors and classmates.

“Through my experiences at the university, I’ve developed not only as a student, but as someone prepared to contribute meaningfully to my community,” he continued.

During his time at CWRU, Hodge was a member of the varsity football team and president of CaseCares. He was also a member of the Black Letterwinning Athlete CoalitionThe Brotherhood and Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. Hodge is an incoming law student at Ohio State University as a Mortiz Scholar.
