School of Dental Medicine receives grant for Veterans Day clinic
Delta Dental Foundation bestowed the grant to support oral health services for veterans.
Since 2018, Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine has offered discounted dental care to veterans and military personnel on Veterans Day. This year, the school received a $5,000 grant from Delta Dental Foundation to support these oral health services for veterans.
“The foundation’s support will enable us to continue improving access to high-quality dental care for those who have served,” said Ali Syed, admitting clinic director and associate professor of oral and maxillofacial medicine. “We are grateful for this ongoing partnership.”
Delta Dental Foundation is a nonprofit, charitable organization that provides grant funding to oral health initiatives that support access to care, advocacy, workforce development and education in Ohio, Michigan and Indiana.
